Chrome plating in chromium IV will probably only be legally permitted until Sep 2024

Then please deal with this topic at an early stage. The previous high-gloss chrome plating, also known as chromium IV, will probably only be approved by the EU authority Echa until Sep. 2024.
A technical alternative is chromium III chrome plating. Visually, this is hardly distinguishable. Technically, the interface there are differences. - If chromium III is an alternative for your products, please plan a changeover at an early stage. Like everything in life, you need time for the conversion, sampling, etc.
